Hey everyone! I’m thrilled to share my latest adventure with you all through a video that captures an incredible journey I took after graduating from Arizona State University. Instead of jumping headfirst into the rat race, I decided to mix it up and study abroad in Cuba—a decision that changed my life in ways I never expected.
Join me as I take you on a tour starting from Miami’s vibrant Little Havana, where Cuban culture came alive in every dish and rhythm. I can’t wait for you to see the moments that followed, from our eventful flight that made the Cuban news (we hit a bird!) to settling into our casa in Havana, where our host mother, Ileana, shared her space and delicious breakfasts every morning.
In the video, you’ll gain insight into our studies at CIPS, along with immersive cultural experiences such as exploring Hemingway’s home and participating in Afro-Cuban dance, the stunning architecture of Old Havana, and performances at local paladars.
What truly resonated with me during this trip was the deep connections I made with fellow students and locals. The laughter, the stories, and the lessons learned provided a new perspective on life that I carry with me today.
I hope you’ll join me in reliving these moments. It’s more than just a trip; it’s a reminder of the beauty of exploration and the unforgettable experiences that come with it.
Stay restless, my friends, and let’s dive into this journey together!
