I began my photography journey by shooting film in high school. After a brief hiatus, I picked up the camera again in my late 30s. Initially, I felt hesitant to share my passion for photography and chose to use a pseudonym on Instagram. However, I eventually embraced my identity and confidently revealed myself to the world. Since then, I have not only won awards but have also been nominated for my photography work, which has fueled my enthusiasm even further. This passion drove me to pursue a degree in Mass Communication at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, where I recently graduated summa cum laude.
Now, let’s talk about the art. Here’s a collection of my still photography work from the past few years. You’ll find everything from light painting to portraits that capture raw emotion. I’ve taken to the skies with drone shots and roamed the streets with my camera, snapping landscapes and cityscapes that pulse with life. But if I’m being real, my heart beats the loudest for documentary, street, and travel photography. That’s where the soul of the world comes alive—raw, unfiltered, and unapologetically real. Just like me.
